Conscious Clay

The Solstice Ceramic Urn is a hand-thrown stoneware vessel that reflects the quiet beauty of shifting light. Soft hues of winter white and pale sky blue rise into a gentle gradient of smoke grey and warm stone — reminiscent of dawn breaking on a still horizon. Its matching ceramic lid features an inset tealight holder, inviting a steady glow in remembrance and peace.

Each urn begins as raw clay, hand-thrown on the wheel in my Dunsborough studio. After slow drying and bisque firing, it’s glaze-fired to 1300 °C for enduring strength and timeless finish. The surface reveals delicate transitions and fine hares fur detailing, a truly unique urn — a vessel that captures both light and grounding.

All glazes are Conscious Clay studio originals, and every piece is individually crafted by my hands.
