Seagem – Medium Urn
Seagem is a hand-thrown stoneware urn shaped with soft, rounded lines and finished in a serene palette of ocean blues, seafoam tones and gentle shoreline greys. Across the surface, fine ribbons of warm golden glaze drift like sunlight dancing on moving water—subtle, fluid and beautifully organic.
The vessel rests with a calm, grounding presence, smooth beneath the fingertips and shaped to feel both strong and soothing. Its contrasting dark ceramic lid includes a recessed tealight holder, allowing a warm flame to glow above and reflect softly across the glazed surface.
Created individually in my Dunsborough studio, each urn is wheel-thrown, slowly dried, bisque-fired and glaze-fired to 1300 °C. The golden lines settle differently on every piece, giving each urn its own natural rhythm and unique expression.
