Conscious Clay

The Seafern Ceramic Urn is a hand-thrown stoneware vessel. Soft green tones sweep across the rim, flowing into tranquil sea blue and grounding into deep green below — a fluid horizon captured in clay. Its matching ceramic lid includes an inset tealight holder, inviting a gentle glow to honour love, life, and memory.

Each urn is hand-shaped in my Dunsborough studio, dried slowly, and fired twice — the final at 1300 °C for strength and permanence. The glaze moves naturally in the kiln, creating one-of-a-kind transitions that make each vessel as individual as the life it commemorates.

All glazes are Conscious Clay studio originals, and every urn is crafted by my hands with care and reverence.
