Purple Rain – Small Urn

Appropriate for children, a partial amount of adult ashes or larger pets. Small urns are often selected when families plan to divide ashes between relatives, or when part of the ashes will be placed in multiple resting places.
Purple Rain is a hand-thrown stoneware urn finished in a deep, shifting glaze of indigo, violet and storm-washed blue. Soft speckling moves across the surface like rainfall, creating a natural gradient where the colours pool, flow and break into fine variations unique to this firing.
The matching ceramic lid features an inset tealight recess, allowing a gentle candle glow to honour and remember your loved one.
Each urn is made in my Dunsborough studio from high-fired stoneware for strength and longevity. It is thrown on the wheel, dried slowly, bisque fired, and glaze-fired to 1300 °C. All glazes are Conscious Clay originals, developed and applied by hand — no two Purple Rain urns will ever be the same.
