Crafted for children or teenagers. Medium urns are also well suited to families who wish to keep a substantial portion of ashes while still scattering or sharing some.
Ivory is a soft, luminous hand-thrown stoneware urn, finished in a gentle white glaze touched with subtle veils of Iron rich Tenmoku and misty grey. Its surface carries the calm, understated beauty of weathered stone and winter light—quiet, elegant, and deeply soothing.
The rounded form is full and grounding, crafted to sit with a serene, comforting presence. A recessed ceramic lid creates a seamless silhouette, allowing the vessel to feel whole and uninterrupted, with a soft glow when a tealight is placed within.
Each piece is individually made in my Dunsborough studio—shaped on the wheel, slowly dried, bisque fired, and glaze-fired to 1300 °C. The glaze settles differently on every urn, creating delicate variations that ensure no two vessels will ever be the same.
