Ember – Small Urn

Capacity: 900 ml
Created for children, a partial amount of adult ashes or larger pets. Small urns are often selected when families plan to divide ashes between relatives, or when part of the ashes will be placed in multiple resting places.

Ember is a hand-thrown stoneware urn finished in a deep crimson red glaze.  The matching ceramic lid features an inset tealight recess, allowing a gentle candle glow to honour and remember your loved one.  Each urn is made in my Dunsborough studio from high-fired stoneware for strength and longevity. It is thrown on the wheel, dried slowly, bisque fired, and glaze-fired to 1300 °C.

All glazes are Conscious Clay originals, developed and applied by hand.
