The Aurora Ceramic Urn is a handmade stoneware cremation urn with an inset tealight, offering a gentle glow to honour and remember a loved one’s life.

The Aurora Ceramic Urn is a hand-thrown stoneware vessel finished in a serene, sky-washed glaze that drifts from misty white to soft blue and then iron rich ambers. Its ceramic lid features an inset tealight, allowing a quiet flame to glow in remembrance — a luminous tribute to a life cherished.

Each urn begins as raw clay, hand-thrown on the wheel in my Dunsborough studio. Once formed, it’s slowly dried, bisque fired and then glazed using formulas I’ve developed over years of refinement. The final firing reaches 1300°C, creating a piece that is both strong and enduring — a vessel crafted to hold love for generations.

All glazes are original studio recipes, and every urn is individually made by my hands, ensuring no two are ever the same.
